Breast Reconstruction
Breast reconstruction is the re-creation of the shape of a breast after mastectomy.
It can occur during the same operation as the mastectomy (immediate reconstruction), or at a later date (delayed reconstruction).
Your Breast Surgeon will work with a Plastic Surgeon to help plan the best reconstruction for you.
Types of Reconstruction
Implant reconstruction
This technique uses silicon implants to recreate the breast shape.

This technique uses your own tissues to recreate the breast shape.
